[NEWS ABROAD]: KTM and subsidiary Husaberg recall 7000 motorcycles

KTM and Husaberg (owned by KTM) has recalled about 7000 motorcycles.

The motorcycles which have been recalled are off-road and competition only motorcycles. The reason being given is 'crash hazard'. Though no injuries have been reported. The bikes were sold between January 2012 to April 2013. The company did not mention what the exact problem that plagued the recalled motorcycles.

11 motorcycle models were recalled from the 2013 lineup - 85 SX, 85 SXS, 125 SX, 150 SX, 150 XC, 200 XC-W, 250 SX, 250 XC, 250 XC-W, 300 XC and 300 XC-W. Husaberg models being recalled are - TE 250 and TE 300.
