Hi XBHP Team,
Good day. I am really proud to say that, I have been completed five years in XBHP family. I sincerely thank to each and everyone in XBHP.
I really congratulating everyone, who all are all successfully completed and got the saddle sore certificate from Iron Butt Association.
I am proud to say to all XBHP members, that I am successfully completed my saddle sore, and I have sent all the needed documents to IBA team, also got reply from IBA that, ride has been approved. Eagerly I am waiting for my saddle sore certificate.
Getting Saddle sore certificate is not a such a easy thing. I tried twice to achieve my goal.
First I thank to my best friend john (xbhp- john blr)who is currently living in Bangalore, who brought me into XBHP biking.
I heartly thanks to my lovable life partner Dr.M.Ambika for her wonderful support and encouragement.
I really Thank to my beloved brother A.D.Elangovan who was given his lovely bike for my saddlesore and his support.
I thank to my best friend sakthi who was motivated me to do this.
It’s doesn’t matter that how long we live in this world, but its matter that how much we have got space in people’s heart.
Thank to god for given me a wonderful peoples in my life.
I love bike travel; I find out that bike riding makes me always happy.
I want to show my identity in biking. I came to know about saddle sore almost eight years back, from that time it, I am so much interested to get IBA certificate.
I thank to XBHP for made my dream came true, I have learned a lot of things through riding friends in XBHP. I have got lot of friends in XBHP.

Four wheels move the body, two wheels move the soul. Motorcycle riding gives me a sense of freedom which I don’t get in a car. My senses take on a different significance.

To get IBA certificate was my long time goal, august first week I planned for saddle sore, I thought August 14th and august 15th will be good time for saddle sore, that time won’t be much traffic also I can get leave from my work.
I informed my life partner about my saddle sore, she said plan properly for this trip. I am waiting for my new bike to come but that will take two months to come, so I called indimotord Bangalore for bike rental, they said bike is available, but the thing is I have to go to Bangalore for bike, that will not be a problem but after finish my ride I have to come back to Coimbatore, that time I will may be too much tired also I can’t take too much of leave in my office. So I called some Coimbatore friends and asked about bike for rentals but they all said that, 200 cc bikes are not available in Coimbatore. Finally I called my brother AD.Elangovan on august 10th.
ME- Hi bro, coming 14th I am planned to do saddle sore, I need a bike for rental do you know anybody giving bikes for rental?
AD.ELANGOVAN -bro, take my bike, I am not giving for rental , this is for our friendship.
ME- I don’t want your bike bro, the reason why I am saying is, if it anything happens while ride, that will may be make problem in our relationship.
AD.ELANGOVAN- No sentiments , take it for ride, don’t say a word.
ME- Thank you, I will take it.
After that I prepared for saddle sore, before start of the day I bought chocolates, biscuits, first aid kid and etc.
I have chosen my brother in law KM.Govindaraj as my starting witness.
This is not my first time to start bike for Saddle sore.
Few years back I have started with group of five members from XBHP team.
That time I have four friends with me in ride.

This time I have planned for solo ride. Before starting I have little scared, because I don’t have any back up for my ride. I called my friend john.
ME- john, how are you?
JOHN- I am good Mahesh bhai. How are you what’s up?
ME- I am good bro, I am planned for my saddle sore, it’s happening tomorrow I have chosen route up to kittur via Bangalore and come back.
JOHN- wow, sounds looking great bro, take nice road after reach electronic city, I wish you all the best, if you need any help give me a call, if possible we will meet up bro.
ME- sure john, I am planned the same route. I will call you while I am crossing in Bangalore.
JOHN- ok bro ride safe.
Then I got little relaxed.
August 13th evening I have informed in fual gas station that I will be coming around 1.00 am. I slept early in that night, I woke up at 12.45 and I went to gas station at 1.20, few minutes I have waited for my eye witness to come so I called my biking friends
ME- Bro, I am started.
AD.ELANGOVAN- Bro wish you all the best. You can do it. Give me a call in every stop of riding.
ME- sure, I will.
After that called Mr.Arun
ME- Bro, I am started.
ARUN- all the best brother, be careful.
ME-sure bro, I will.
My both eye witness came to gas station and filled the form, now time 1.30. I started filled petrol for bike. got printed receipt for that. Also used nearby ATM for printed receipt.
Starting form filling finished, fuel filled, Now I started bike.

Before few seconds to start my ride, I said to my self that, wow I feel wonderful, I am going to make it as great ride in my life, I can do it, I will win over .

My starting point is Samalapuram, Karumathampatty , Coimbatore.

There are only few miles to catch NH47. After Around 5-10 minutes drive I got NH47.
After reached the national highway I maintained 90-110kms speed. There was no traffic up to salem. After crossing 40 kms from salem road were not good. Some how I manage 50kms. After krishnagiri the road was good but entering in to hosur road works are in progress.
Now I almost crossed 300 kms. So I stopped for fuel in hosur. I filled up petrol and got printed receipt, also got card payment receipt. Had a cup of tea and some fruits.

Thank god there was not much traffic in Bangalore after entering electronic city I have taken nice road. Wow sun just rising in my right side. I enjoyed ride with sun. Stopped for toll ticket, again started, after 20-25 minutes drive I entered in tumkur high way.
I got tired, so I stopped. Time was around 6.45. I called my wife and said that I have crossed Bangalore.
I had two chocolates and water. After that small refreshment I started my drive. Roads were really good so I maintained the same speed 100-120kms
After 30-45 minutes drive there was drizzling, somehow I have managed my drive. I maintained average speed of 60-70kms.
I reached chitradurga. I got fuel station but there was no printed receipt, so I went another station there I got printed receipt, but no card payment so paid cash in that station.

I have seen wonderful greeneries from chitradurga to kittur, I enjoyed ride.Roads were nice few places. I have seen big speed breakers. I entered kittur around 12pm.
Here I have planned to turn around from Rani Chennamma Statue, Kittur. But as my fuel has reduced and full of warm climate I needed to stop before 17 kms from my turning point itself which is a Fuel Pump at Dharwad, Karnataka District.
I found a gas station filled petrol and got printed receipt and card payment receipt

This is the place I have fixed to turn back towards my starting point, Rani Chennamma Statue, Kittur, Karnataka District
Now I planned to take U turn, so I have got a person for eye witness there and I turned back to the way I came.
I feel tired so I stopped after 15 kms from kittur I found a small cool drink shop I had 2 lemon soda with salt, got refreshed.
There was drizzling and climate was not good. So I maintained medium speed.
Again I reached chitradurga, I got fuel station and filled up petrol got printed receipt and card payment receipt.

I have done ride around 150 kms. up to this place everything was on my plan. After crossing tumkur there was traffic started, almost 7 pm I have reached nice road, now I got some how relaxed, there was not much traffic. After reaches the electronic city again I got stuck in traffic. Up to hosur there was huge traffic. I stopped after hosur for gas. I filled petrol got printed receipt and card payment receipt.

After few minutes rest again I started ride. There was rain started. I couldn’t ride in rain I stopped ride, I couldn’t see the road clearly. So from here I planned to follow average speed car. The same I did it up to krishnagiri. Now I got tired and taken few minutes rest.
I started ride in rain, I couldn’t ride above 40 kms speed. I reached salem around 11.30
After reaching salem There was heavy rain so I stopped riding. I got too much of tired.
My dress got wet so I changed T-shirt and removed shoe, now I got little relaxed. I had few chocolates. From here to my destination 130 kilometers. I got almost 2 hours and 20 minutes.
I started ride in heavy rain, I encouraged myself. After almost I crossed 20 kilometers, rain was stopped so I started pushing my throttle, so average I used 120kms speed. After I reached karumathampatti I filled petrol and got printed receipt, I taken ATM receipt nearby I informed my friend to come to palladam.

I planned to keep this check point as my ending point and I have reached 1626 kms which is above 1000 miles as per my odometer but I need another10 kilometers as on Google map, I have more time so I planned to travel another few kms so I changed my Ending point to Palladam, Tirupur City.
I went to palladam found gas station, I filled petrol and got printed receipt also got card payment receipt. My friend already reached there so I got end witness form filled.
