The KTM 1290 Super Adventure is scheduled to be launched this September at the Intermot Show, in Cologne, Germany.

Even before the launch KTM shared the first official picture of the KTM 1290 Super Adventure due to the increased interest in the bike. The bike will be officially launched on September 30th at the Intermot Show, where full details will be made available. Currently, KTM has only let on that the bike will have a bigger engine and tank! Though the bike will most probably also feature the Bosch's Motorcycle Stability Control System, Traction Control and ABS.
This bike is a step up in the Adventure department of KTM from the earlier 1190. The new 1290 Super Adventure sports the same engine as the 1290 Super Duke with the chassis of the 1190 Adventure. The KTM 1290 Super Adventure will hope to dent the sales of the Ducati Multistrada and the Aprilia Caponord.
