Leopard Luggage tank bag review
Hello,
So recently last year I started to hunt for tank bags, my first need was a value for money option, and a bag I could use as a backpack if the need be.
Looked at many brands, many bags.
One day, a friend of mine suggested me this new brand, Leopard Luggages. Looks like a startup by some students in Mumbai.
Checked some pictures, talked to the brand and ordered the bag.
Paid â¹2300+300 shipping. Absolute value for a 31 litre (expanded) bag.
The shipment arrived by TrackOn courier and was on time.
Now coming over to the bag.
ARTICLES GIVEN -
1 tank bag, 1 warranty card, 1 rain liner, magnetic base with 5 magnets, pair of tie-down cords for non magnetic tanks.
CAPACITY -
Bag has a capacity of 22 litres and can be expanded to 31 litres using an expansion chain.
POCKETS -
There is a pocket for smartphone on top, a small pocket below it, 1 pocket each on both the sides (2 side pockets) and a main compartment with a tying buckle and a mesh pocket.
There is another pocket under the bag which I found later, that holds the rain liner.
There is also an open no chain pocket that holds the straps for backpack conversion.
MATERIAL -
Excellent 1680d material outside, the inside is a red color, has nice padding too. The smartphone pocket has a earphone out hole too.
PICTURES -
(The app won't let me add high quality pictures right now, will check that and add later.)

Pachmarhi on Bicycles
Hi guys this is my first thread on this forum but I have posted quite a few times.
This will be a videologue cum travelogue. Hope you will enjoy this ride as much we enjoyed while riding and then editing the video.
Our search of inclines took us to the Manali-Leh route last year and having criss-crossed Melghat & Chikhaldara 3-4 times we wanted to try Pachmarhi as it is nearer and faster from our place.
The gang was ready with record 9 participants and 6 cyclists. We had to take two vehicles with us for our gear and cycles, a Scorpio and a Vento to be precise. The cycles we use came from Schnell, Bâtwin and Montra.
This was a quick three day tour in August end. We loaded our cycles and spares in Scorpio and our luggage in Vento. We had to start very early in the morning as we were planning to start from Tamia which is around 85kms away from Pachmarhi.
Unpacking at Tamia:

Start from Tamia:

We reached Tamia by 9 oâclock in the morning and after an hour ready we started our ride. The road is a two lane affair till Matkuli and traffic is not too heavy, there was no problem riding the bicycles here. By late afternoon our convoy reached Matkuli and had some lunch at MPTDC restaurant.
From here the ride started to get hard as it was almost all incline upto Pachmarhi, the way we wanted. Slowly and steadily we started to climb and took short breaks for drinks. The evening was coming and mountains were getting misty. The views were incredible and the forest was getting thicker. The road was narrow but it was relatively traffic free as it was middle of the week.
After Denwa-darshan view point, it was fast getting dark and we hurried towards the destination. We had booked our stay using MMT before hand.
The next day the weather was bad and we could not do much of cycling but we headed towards Bara Mahadev and then trekked to Chauragarh. Then after having a sumptuous lunch, it was time to head towards Richhgarh and the ultimate point was Dhoopgarh which is the highest point in Satpura ranges while doing duty as sunrise and sunset point too. Though it was cloudy and sunset was not visible, we thoroughy enjoyed the weather till it was dark and time to return to town.
Chauragarh:

Richhgarh:

Dhoopgarh:

On our final day, the weather gods were happy and we strolled in town on bicycles and visited Apsara Vihar, where we had a wonderful and refreshing dip in the pond and accompanying waterfall. We also got to see some butterflies there.
Apsara Vihar:

Common Evening Brown:

Zebra Blue:

Zebra Blue:

We then had a second breakfast of the day and by noon started our descent towards Matkuli on our return journey. The downhill ride was great and soon it was time to pack up our gear and return home which was more than 350kms away.
The return journey was uneventful and relaxed and got home by 11:30 in the night.
Ciao!

MotoGP to have a new electric racing World Cup from 2019!
As electric motorcycles are gaining traction the world over, it comes as no surprise that the pinnacle of motorcycle racing MotoGP will be introducing an electric racing World Cup from 2019.
As we have seen in every motorcycle exhibition, e-bikes are going to get more and more popular. Even in the Auto Expo currently going on in India, there has been a bevy of manufacturers showcasing their electric bikes. India has seen a flurry of activity with the government giving clean transportation and especially electric vehicles a major push.
The Moto-E championship will be held from 2019 and will have 5 rounds. Energica will be the official supplier for the motorcycles, while Michelin will be the sole tyre supplier for the championship.
The series will be officially called FIM Enel MotoE World Cup.
This will be the first step down this electric path. There will be 18 bikes on the grid in the inaugural year with the teams coming from the existing MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 teams. The riders will also be experienced GP riders, to ensure that the racing is at a world class level.

Vito Ippolito, FIM President, commented: âWe are delighted to announce this new Dorna-Enel partnership, with Enel having shown a solid plan in the development of renewable energy generation technologies. The FIM started with a Sustainability programme 25 years ago. We consider this as one key pillar for the future of motorcycling and for the evolution in the field of Alternative Energies. We are absolutely confident that the partnership between Dorna, Energica and Enel will ensure that within the sports sector, we are contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, especially those related with Affordable Clean Energy.â
Francesco Starace, CEO and General Manager of the Enel Group, said: âTodayâs announcement of our partnership with Dorna underlines once again Enelâs commitment to champion the continued advancement of electric mobility globally. Our contribution of industrial solutions to both MotoGP, the leading motorcycle racing series, and MotoE, an exciting new frontier in the world of competitive motorsports, will allow Enel to continue to explore technology innovation in the world of sustainable transportation. Our partnership with MotoE and MotoGP is therefore a natural next step for Enel, building on our position as Official Power Partner of Formula E, which we announced in 2016. Enelâs leadership over the last decade in the renewable energy revolution, and in smart technologies for homes, businesses and cities, position us well to use partnerships such as this one with Dorna to implement and communicate our sustainability strategy, in which we see the electrification of transportation playing a key role in the future of cities across the world.â
Carmelo Ezpeleta, CEO Dorna Sports, said: âDorna, together with the FIM, are delighted to move ahead into the world of electric mobility - an option we consider a parallel path for the future. Today we are thrilled to announce our partnership with Enel as the official title sponsor for the FIM Enel MotoE World Cup, as well as being the Sustainable Power Partner of MotoGP - a technical partner we look forward to working with in this new venture. We are satisfied with the commitment and values Enel encapsulates, as they perfectly highlight the principles that the new FIM Enel MotoE World Cup is founded on. We are very proud to work with such a global, innovative and far-reaching company such as Enel and look forward to the collaboration which also involves IRTA, the MotoGP Independent Teams and the excellent Energica bike. You can be sure that together we can make the Cup a resounding success.â

Confused..
Well.. been months since i started searching for a new motorcycle.. sold previously owned FZS and now feel as if half my body parts are broken... in desperate need of a motorcycle... but everytime when i zero in on one... something or the other makes me rethink... end result... still in square 1.
Let me post my options
1. FZ 25
2. Mahindra Mojo
3. Dominor
4. CBR 250.
My usage will be daily commuting (50km per day) in city traffic and touring >500km once in a month or once in two months.
Dominor seemed to be a good one... but i am sceptical about quality of service and the longevity of the bike.. besided its tiny 13L tank combined with 25kmpl fuel economy, Dominor needs more stops than i like.
Mahindra mojo : Felt it is a better option, its touringcapability is proven and reliability is spoken well... but again quality of service is a concern..
FZ25 : its a well known territory for me.. Handling is smilar to FZs with little more comfort. With 14l tank and 35 as millage it can munch atleast 400km with ease.. but what pulls me out is its touring capability.. i have toured on FZS before and always felt tiny on the highways... dont want to feel the same with FZ25.
CBR 250.. this wasnt in my list until it was unveiled couple of days ago... it isnt what every honda fan expected..but for me it should be perfect ..adequate power... comfortable riding postion... reliable... but will it be lauched in couple of weeks... cant wait for months really...
With this... i have two options in mind... Mojo or FZ25... i almost zeroed in on mojo but the practicalities stuck me... 1. Too muh of weight for city rides. 2. Should i invest 2L when FZ25 with 1.5L can do the what mojo can do. Practically i am not gonna push more than 120 on a highway when touring... and i believe it is easily done by fz25. But its headlight on night rides... On the other hand... mojo is a relaxed tourer.
Please help me choose one...
