I am a proud owner of a brand new Bullet CL 500 ( desert storm) after a wait period of 8 month![]()
I have a confusion with regards to the running in the bike.
The dealer told me not to take the bike above 50kmph for till first service (500km)
however a mechanic at another RE showroom advised me to take it higher than 50kmph as if any issue is there then this would be the right time to identify and replace it as bike is in guarantee period.
so right now totally confused , should I ride under 50kmph or shall I ride normally allowing the bike to touch 80kmph which is easily possible during my 10km up and 10km down to and fro trip to and from office.
as of now I have completed 100km riding at 40-50kmph - shall I continue or shall i start pushing the bike
some people say if I keep it at 40-50 mark then bike will be tuned to that and wont be good when riding at higher speeds.
