[What Bike]: Confused Need Help figuring out a bike around 80K for a very COMFORTABLE 40km Commute

hi Guys,

I am in the market to get a bike for my daily office commute.
Own a car, but the time taken by a car to office is quite a lot and hence I prefer a bike as it makes the commute a shorter duration.

I am 5'10", around 100kgs ..yeah i need to lose weight :p
The bike will be mostly used in Pune, where roads can be

The two important things for me are:
1. Comfort
2. Mileage (around 50kmpl).

I am ok with the 125-150/160CC range and i feel with 100cc is a bit under powered for me.

The bikes I have considered:
Apache RTR 160:
Actually my brother(hes a college student) and I were both looking for bikes, he settled on this based on friends recommendations, I like the features, a great console, decent mileage, tube less tires. But what I am worried about is the comfort, it has a slight forward bent riding position and I am not sure if that is great. A

Unicorn:
Used to own one of these, from 2005, a great bike, the only issue that I have is that it has not caught up with the times, its still an analog console (not a big issue) but most importantly they have done no upgrades to the engine, transmission etc since the bike launched.

GS 150 R:
Borrowed this from one of my colleagues for TD, a few things that put me off are, the initial 50 day service interval, weight of the bike, and the fact that there are comparatively few bikes of these on road. Plus after the official services/warranty period i like to service my vehicle at a local shop that I have been using for quite some years now and the owner told me that spares for Suzuki are a bit of a problem.

CB Trigger:
have not TD this, but I am not willing to go to 90k for what is essentially a souped up Unicorn.

Pulsar 150/CBZ Exterme:
For some reason (and I have no justification) I am not a big fan of Hero and Bajaj.
Being used to the refined Unicorn Engine and Transmission, I always felt that these companies were not there yet. At-least this is a bias that I have.

I am not sure if I should consider the 125 CC bikes TVS Phoenix, the Sling Shot, Shine - I am not sure if their comfort levels are as good as their 150 brethren.

Other than the above I am open to any other bikes as well based on the forums expert opinion.

Just to re-iterate:
Most Important would be the Comfort and No back issues for me.

Thank you!
