hi folks,planning a duo ride to Chennai-Valaparai-Munnar on first week of june..need info on present road conditions,climate,scenic routes and budget hotel stays from bikers who have made any recent trip to these places..Here is my route plan Route:Chennai-Vaniyambadi(NH4)-Krishnagiri-Salem-Tiruppur-Pollachi-Valparai,Valparai-Chalakudy-Angamaly-Kothamangalam-Munnar,Munnar-Theni-Dindugul-Trichy-Perambalur-Villupuram-Chengalpatu-Chennai..any suggestions on alternate routes,stays,places to visit,places or routes to avoid are welcome..:)
