Its my pleasure to say 'Hi' again. Regard to the Journey I did last year and the same I gonna do this year 2013 for Social cause.
To know about last year Journey - AJP 2012
This year 2013 I have a plan to start my ride in the last week of September, the route plans and other details will be shared very soon.
As a Overview, this time no. of days would be 10, total journey distance would be not less than 2000 kms and I gonna visit 13 colleges to promote Safe Biking and Personality Development training session.
Before that, It is time to say how and why I started Augmented Journey for a Personality.
This journey started when I graduated with my B.Sc. Computer Science degree in 2008. I began to see the competitive world of IT Industry and I couldnt get a job from any of the companies. I realized that I was not competitive or qualified enough and didn't have the personality to project myself. So, I decided to do a master degree (MBA-HR), where my learning phase started. I groomed my abilities in the two years and was placed as a HR Executive in the Recruitment Team at HCL technologies. Since then I've given offer letters to more than 500 fresh graduates during 2010 - 2011.
A person, who was not eligible for a job in 2008, became a HR Executive for one of the top IT companies in India and offered jobs for more than 500 students. If I can improve myself in two years then, students who are all doing 3 or a 4 years degree can develop themselves much better by getting a little guidance from professors, subject matter experts, lecturers and friends.
I cannot put things right by myself and I am not that perfect. But, I have witnessed CHANGE and I am trying to bring the same CHANGE in all the upcoming fresh and young human resources of this world (students) whoever is eager to learn and achieve in their life.
By adopting CHANGE in the Personality as my motto, whenever I go for campus recruitment to various cities, states and colleges I always try to do a personality development session before starting an interview. But I cannot go for campus recruitment to all the colleges in Tamil Nadu.
Meanwhile, I had a job change to MphasiS, an HP Company from HCL. I am no more in recruitment team but I still associate myself with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Employee Engagement Team (EET) of MphasiS, an HP Company and begun visiting various colleges for the same motto.
Adding to that, my Passion & hobby towards biking and photography helped me to do a full-fledged journey for 10 consecutive days to all 32 districts of Tamil Nadu in the year 2012 from August 2nd to 12th. During this journey I went to 18 colleges for personality development training programs and also to create awareness on safe biking by asking the students to wear helmet while riding their motorbike.
