The much hyped Kawasaki Ninja ZX10R & ZX14R have finally been launched in India! We are reporting LIVE from the launch event at Pune and the new Ninjas have been launched at a price of Rs. 15.7L & Rs. 16.9L (Ex-Pune) respectively. It is being said that the deliveries of the bikes would start by September. These flagship motorcycles will be brought in via the CBU route. In India, these bikes have been launched in two colours - Black and Ninja Green.

It's a smart move by Bajaj to bring these two beasts into the Indian market shortly after launching the baby Ninja. These new bikes will definitely appeal to those who have always been praying for something epic from entry level sportsbikes.
To begin with, the ZX10R will be pitted against the Yamaha R1, it's an experts track focused machine with razor sharp handling. Its in-line four, four-stroke, liquid-cooled, 998cc engine pumps out close to 200bhp. The engine is tamed to a 6-speed transmission. It's equipped with dual 310 mm discs up front while the rear gets a 220 mm disc brake. It gets ABS and traction control as well.
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R is the companys flagship bike, will be up against the Suzuki Hayabusa. It's the fastest production motorcycles ever offered to the public, with a top speed purposely restricted to 297kph. It's heart is a 1,441cc, 4-cylinder motor that belts out a maximum power of 210 BHP. The engine is tamed by a 6-speed transmission. It gets dual 310 mm discs up front and a 250 mm single rear disc. It's equipped with inverted telescopic forks on the front and gets a Uni-Track gas charged shock absorber at the rear.
