Hello all,
I am final year mechanical student.Actually for final year project I am going to make a reverse trike which can be lean at corners and curves using either moped like kinetic or bike which has advantage of gearing. But my main areas of concern is stub axle and king pin assembly as i want to fit double wishbone type suspension which is also known as A-arm.So I want to know whether i can use M800 parts which includes stub and kingpin assembly.I know than its a question which is bit related to cars. Also I can directly use ATV parts but they are not readily available.I am posting pics for your referance below.
This is reverse trike i.e two wheel at front and one at rear
Attachment 114537Attachment 114538
principle of operation
leanable trike:This trike scooter/moped seems to be a standard moped with the front wheel removed and replaced with the front wheels of an ATV/quad.The picture seem to indicate its an independent lean steer design, so when the driver exerts lean, the front tires lean in unison with the rear tire.

Where I stuck is this:
Attachment 114540Attachment 114541
So,please help me doing this. There are couple of ideas out there in my mind to use vespa/scooter front wheel set which have suspension set like cantilever on only one side and modify it.Pic below
Attachment 114542
Please guide me...Reply soon I will post further pics once project start.
