VR46 Racing Apparel to handle Yamaha's MotoGP Merchandise

Valentino Rossi's company VR46 Racing is set to handle Yamaha's MotoGP wing of merchandise. VR46 Racing has signed up with Yamaha Factory Racing to handle the sale and distribution of their merchandise.

Valentino Rossi has not just been successful on the race track, but he has shown that he has a good business sense off the track as well. The Italian legend runs the the VR46 Racing Apparel company, which initially used to see to the merchandising of Rossi himself, but due to the success of his business and professional approach to managing things, other riders have also given their merchandise to VR46 Racing to handle. Most notable of whom is Marc Marquez. The Italian and the Spaniard might be bitter rivals now on track, but that has not stopped either from continuing their business association. It's just good business!

VR46 CEO Alberto Tebaldi: "We are delighted about the partnership with Yamaha Factory Racing, and I hope this is just the beginning of an even larger project with our partner. The passion and dedication are some of the values that the two companies have in common. This agreement is an important recognition for us, no doubt a confirmation of the work we do every day.”

Yamaha Racing boss Lin Jarvis added: "We are pleased to have signed a new agreement with one of the most important merchandisers in the motorsport market. The professionalism and experience of VR46 Racing Apparel give us the certainty that this will be a successful partnership in the long term.

“Licensing is an important revenue stream for any professional sports team at a global level, and Yamaha Factory Racing is pleased to launch our new range of products for the millions of fans who follow us around the world."

The other high profile clients of VR46 Racing include Dani Pedrosa, Cal Crutchlow, Marc's younger brother Alex Marquez, Scott Redding, Bradley Smith, Pol Espargaro, Jack Miller and a host of other big names in Moto2 and Moto3.
