Ducati India discontinues 4 models, including 899 Panigale.
Few months ago, a member from Xbhp noted that Ducati India website has few missing motorcycles. It turns out sadly, that all the missing motorcycles were planned to be discontinued all along.

Apart from the Litre-beater, the 899 Panigale, the other 3 bikes are Monster 795, Monster 796 Corse Strip ABS and the Monster 796 S2R. The new most affordable Monster for now is 821 (Dark), at approx 9.29 Lacs INR.
899 Panigale is probably the biggest disappointment of this news. It was a good chance at 13~Lacs INR to own something from the Panigale family of racing bikes. But let's not get depressed, as one era paves the way for another. We have witnessed spy shots of the alleged Panigale 959. So, are we looking at a new launch around next year?
We believe yes, because Ducati is all about progress. We've had 749, then 848, then 848 Evo, then it became 899. And the trend should go on and on..
Meanwhile, the Scrambler series is getting positive vibes from the Indian market, which gives Ducati more reason to focus on it.
If you still want to own one of these discontinued bikes, rush to your Ducati dealer now & try your luck..
