Hello fellow riders,
I am using a Karizma-R series and I have clocked over 48K kms on the bike. Recently I have got my bike repaired due to engine issues. Engine oil was leaking into the combustion chamber and bike was giving white smoke during morning start up (didnt observe white smoke on other time of the day/night). After getting my bike checked at SVC, they said that new piston, piston rings and re-boring need to be done.
I came across some threads on xbhp discussing about white smoke issues and re-boring of engine with new piston.
So my question is do all bikes need such kind of repairing after roughly 50k kms in their life-time (including premium bikes like ninja 300, R3 rc 390 etc)?
