Sales Report: August 2015.

Last month was a shocking month for Hero Motocorp, as it remained the only well known manufacturer to report negative sales, compared to sales of the same month last year. Is this trend set to continue? Sadly so. Their stock values are creating havoc among investors. Their market share is a shocking 12 year low, according to a analysis, which Hero have doubted technically. They're also in news for high royalties to Honda, which they aim to curb by newer independent motorcycle and scooter models. They're also getting incomplete projects with EBR to India, to continue product development.
In 2014, the news was a 21% increase compared to 2013. This year, the news is 14% decline.

But they're still the No. 1 in sales, so hopefully we won't see the king being dethroned any time soon.
This time's festive season being late than usual is being cited as the reason for low sales, but... this applies to all automobile makers?

TVS are clearly stagnating this month, with a marginal growth. Let's see what festive season brings for them.
Bajaj also posted a marginal growth, despite newer models to flaunt in showrooms.

The Gixxer and Let's are some of the products responsible for taking Suzuki to an amazing 68% growth this month. They have finally realized that good looking bikes sell in this country, although let's make it clear that there was nothing wrong with GS150R all these years.

Royal Enfield breaks the 40,000 units/ month barrier for the first time in India, with an impressive 59% sales growth rate, but unlike last month, this time the biggest growth figure is not posted by RE. This is something, that Suzuki will enjoy, at least for this month.
