Guys I am looking for my first big bike . Currently I own Karizma and super happy with it. I enjoy the comfortable seating position and low end torque. I test rode Benelli 600i and was somewhat underwhelmed with the low end power. This was first time I rode 250cc plus bike so my judgement might be wrong. Sound is amazing though, as expected from I4. I have never ridden Ninja 650 so here are my some of doubts. This purchase will be second bike, only for weekend or small rides. Someone who has ridden both please answer
1)If I am riding under 5k,6k RPM, will Ninja deliver considerably more torque in real life as indicated by specs (around 60nm @6k rpm vs 50nm @10k) ? I am not a ripper and will rarely ride over 100,120 kmph. So under these condition will Ninja feel way more powerful ?
2)Is there huge difference in FE ? Whats the average range for FE for both bikes?
3)Benelli 600gt seems to deliver peak torque at slightly lower RPMs (8k) but looks yuk :p IMO also its 50k more espensive. Can anyone who has ridden this bike comment on its low end performance vs 600i ?
4)What about pillion comfort on Benelli 600i ? Again here Ninja 650 seems to have edge..
As you might have guessed I am leaning towards Ninja 650. Its just the sound of i4 has added to the dilemma :D
