The company had entered into an agreement with Michelin to manufacture motorcycle and scooter tyres designed by Michelin for the Indian market at its Madurai facility.
TVS Srichakra will manufacture Michelin Two-wheeler tyres and some tyres from their product range at this facility.
P Vijayaraghavan also said:
TVS Tyres and Michelin would put in place respective best practices to deliver world-class tyres to Indian consumers.
The TVS Srichakras Madurai Facility has an annual capacity of 3.6 million tyres."
