Choosing a bike between 200-300 cc

Hi All,

I am planning to buy a new bike in the range of 200-300cc. I am bit confused to choose which.

My requirements are:

1. Riding Comfort. I don't like forward lean positions. I like straight sitting position which is helpful for long drives.
2. Pillion Comfort. It should be good
3. ABS. I am a bit safety concerned. So I prefer ABS.
4. No fairing. I really don't like fairing at all. I prefer street-fighter type design.
5. No RE. I don't like them.


For the above requirements, I didn't get options at all in the Indian Market. So I compromised on fairing. I got below options:
1. RS 200 (Riding Position is good. But single Channel ABS. Also I heard that Bajaj Engines are not so good on long drives. It gets heated up a lot. And also heard that Bajaj engines are not so reliable on long run)
2. CBR250 (Supposedly good engine with ABS. But riding position is not so good, leaning forward, which is not so good for long drives)

I am also planning to remove the fairing from above bike (whichever I buy) and modify as a normal headlight bike. Will this affect the ABS functionality? (I heard that ABS is calibrated based on bike weight and design.)


Please suggest.
