First I should apologize to fellow riders, since I overslept and that delayed the start of the ride. We are supposed to start at 5.30am. But we started at 6.30AM. The date is July 4th 2014. I started the trip towards Shahapur and waited there for Prasad and Pratik to reach. We continued the ride together. We had our breakfast at Kasara(Food Hub) and then we resumed our ride towards Randha Falls.
At first it was little disappointing, since the entire stretch of road was dry and there is no sign of rain or even stagnant water but we could see the clouds. We were all geared up for the rains and we started to feel hot and we were sweating inside. After reaching Randha Falls, we were at least able to find some water and then we had some time resting at Randha Falls. Then we rode towards Bhandardara Falls and we saw that the Lake Arthur was experiencing severe drought.
It was the weather gods who betrayed us with scorching sun but not with refreshing rains. Then we returned back to Mumbai and while returning, we had our lunch at Dalvi Darbar after Kasara. The ride was complete and we had our time as usual.
Surprise of the ride: No Damn Rains!!
