Once the Vibrant Gujarat Summit is over the Harleys along with other vehicles will be sent off to various police Departments in the state for escorting VIP convoys.
The Purchase of Harley Davidson was a part of Vibrant Gujarat Summit 2015 along with 225 units of Bolero and 350 units of bikes, 23 bikes have been delivered to the Gandhinagar police.
These Harley Davidson Street 750 and Superlow have been given a white paint job as well as warning light, siren, and a wireless communicator. Both the bikes will be stock in terms of mechanicals.
Harley-Davidson bikes are used by police departments across the globe, with India being the latest name in the list.
Gujarat Police is now the first Indian state police to get the Harley Davidson.
