KTM unveiled the long awaited 1050 Adventure at EICMA 2014.

The KTM 1050 Adventure is powered by a 1050cc V-Twin engine producing 95 bhp of power. This KTM is the Austrian company's attempt to bring in an 'economical' Adventure Touring bike without all the fancy bells and whistles found on other bikes in their lineup as well as those of the competition. The bike is also expected to head to India, which piques our interest in it further.
The bike sports a slipper clutch, three level Traction Control and ABS. It weighs in at 211 kg wet. The suspension is KTM owned WP, while the brakes are a Brembo unit. The front wheel is 19 inches while the rear is 17, making it an ideal adventure touring bike. To add to this is the adjustable windscreen, handlebars and footpegs. The bike will shoulder the economical responsibility, while big brothers the KTM 1190 Adventure and KTM 1290 Super Adventure are for those looking at the premium motorcycles in the Adventure Touring segment.
