Problems arising after breakdown. Please help

Dear fellows,

First of all a big thanks to all xbhpians to help me while buying my Pulsar 150 with tons of existing knowledge.

I met with an accident in January. That took me to a bed rest for approx 3 months. Now I am allowed to move and now is the time to take care of the bike. It was standing idle @ home for two months approx before the accident. and for 5 months approx after 5 months. Today I took my bike to the mechanic. I got original mask fairing and front mudguard installed as they were shattered. Self was not working and i was told that this is battery problem. I went to exide and they checked the battery with a meter or something ( I am not good with that stuff) and told me to replace the battery. I purchased new one for 1300 bux and replacement of my old battery. Now my queries are as listed below:

1. I was told that the charger of my bike has gone and i need to change it ASAP otherwise battery will not last long.
2. I was also told that i need to replace that round small bottle shaped thing placed just near the battery. However, after making a direct connection in a box placed just below that bottle I was informed that the bottle is fine and no need to replace.
3. There is also some strange noise like khin khin khin khin coming from front side of engine near break lever. I was told by a friend that the clutch plate is gone. I am not good in that stuff and don't know exactly what to do.

So friends, here is the problem. Please some one put some light on this so that I could get a fair idea.
