Prologue :
It was quite a time I was out on road with my baby CBR. The last time, it was in November 2013 when we went to Jaipur with fellow xbhpians as weel as freinds. That time I decided I would go smewhere, anywhere at once in 3 months if not more. Come Jan 2015, I started to search for the suitable destination. Since was busy with some personal commitments till mid-Feb, the tour had to in March or April. The destination had to be a hill so that I could escape from the heat of Delhi. The options were a lot of them. Rishikesh/Manalii/Mussoorie/Mcleodganj were some options and many came in later. Somehow there were some issues and someone or the other from our freinds group had to drop out from the trip due to some reason. And because one member dropped out, rest all did drop out. And this continued till mid year (June) when I decided to break free. Initially a decided to go to Chail. Heard its a quite place so it sounded like a apt place to relax. The plan was ride down to Chail on 4th of July, stay there for a day and ride back to Delhi on 6th. Now I was eagarly waiting for the day. In the meantime, I discussed the plan with Mukul who at once agreed to join me. So it was two of us now. A few days after I disclosed my plan in front of my whatsapp group and invited anyone who wanted to join us. Then came in Akash....but his bike was not in good condition. He wanted to go but bike was the main problem. I advised him to let go of this trip and promised him I would accompany him whenever he planned the next one ...even if it was next month. But you know how it feels inside when some of your freinds go on a trip and you cannot, specially to the hills. So Akash got his bike repaired and gave a thumbs up for the trip. That took the count to three. But Akash didn't wanted to go to Chail. I asked him to research and decide the destination. As long as it is outside Delhi and doab;e in 3 days, I was ok with any place. So finally couple of days prior to the ride he came up destination to be Narkanda. So finally Narkanda it was!!!!!
Now the wait for friday began.....but it had its own surprises.
