ome say "Live, because you have only one life and today will never come back!" But at the end of the day, when you are lying on your bed, thinking what you did the entire day, the only answer which comes to our minds is, "chaa! nothing much, just office work! one more day wasted!". I and my good friend Ashish were discussing on a similar topic when the frustrations started coming out. That is when he expressed his urge to go somewhere far, in the middle of hills, out of reach from network and communication.

And then began our search for places, near and far. The idea was to look for a place where we can spend the weekend in peace, sad part of the story being we had only the weekend with us. Since we were looking for hills to be our destination to be our getaway, it had to be somewhere in the Western Ghats. After spending couple of hours in the Google maps, we both came up with the following map

The plan looked good and with Bangalore drenched with some showers, we expected some rain on our trip. We decided to meet on Saturday morning by 04:00 am at Ashish's house from where we would kick start our ride.

Friday went through pretty hectic, had to wrap up lots of work in my office, but there was always a smile on my face, anticipating an unforgettable trip over the weekend. By 10:00 pm, I assured that my steed is filled up and came back home to have a light dinner and catch some sleep. As it happens every single time, I hardly got any sleep and I kept on rolling from one side to the other, thinking about the upcoming trip, with only few hours to go

I woke up by the sound of my alarm which was set up at 03:00 am and started getting ready. I had already packed up by bag before I went off to sleep and the camera was full charged as well. It did not take much time for me to settle everything and make my way to Ashish's house.

By the time I reached, I saw Ashish was already at the basement of his apartment, finalizing his luggage and getting his steed ready. One more time, we ran through the routemap quickly, and by 04:00 am we started off with our ride.

The next two days were spent by us completely cut-off from the city life, no network, no one to disturb, in the lap of nature. This was what we wished for!

I am putting forward some teaser pictures as of now. Would be starting off with the details when the teaser gets approved.
