Hi Fellow Bikers,
I am in a fix now as my bike recently had a puncture in the rear tyre and it was no ordinary puncture. The culprit was a long knife like object that has pierced right through the tyre wall.

As a result, I am left with a big cut in the rear tyre when the bike has just done 3000 kms. Despite getting it fixed at the local puncture walla (couple of times) and he has now put 2 punctures in it to seal it I think the air is still leaking as I see a loss in tyre pressure after a week. :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
The stock Michelin Scorchers are of the size 150/60 ZR17 66W and are not available in HD. Also the HD guys at Capital Harley are asking for prices unheard of @ 14000 for the rear tyre and Rs. 1000 for installation whereas Metzelers of same specs are available for 129$ minus shipping.
Would you be having an idea if I could get the same specs somewhere and where could I get these installed outside HD ?
All help would be greatly appreciated as I cant ride my bike without the trouble of getting it inflated after each ride and I cant do pillion :(.
